The 58 member wineries of the Winegrowers of Dry Creek Valley are mainly family-owned and operated and most have estate vineyards. The pride and the diversity of the people who live and work within this narrow, gentle geography are reflected in the special character of Dry Creek Valley grapes and wines.  Apart from the picturesque vineyards there many more attractions around Dry Creek Valley. Beautiful Lake Sonoma is surely one of them. Not only can you hike and swim there but also boat and water-ski. The town of Healdsburg with its many exclusive boutiques, restaurants, bars, and hotels grouped around the plaza has become a favorite destination. Articles in the New York Times and many other newspapers and magazines have contributed to Healdsburg's popularity.
